Viren Jaisingh

Profession: Businessman (Failed)

The root of chaos and suffering, Viren is a man defined by his failures. A husband who betrayed, a father who abandoned, a businessman who collapsed, and a human who lost his way he stands as a reminder that not all downfalls are accidents, some are choices.

Prerna Sehgal
(Avu ki mami)

A woman the world calls generous, but kindness was never her truth. Taking in three children under the guise of compassion, Prerna built an image of selflessness while quietly tearing their lives apart. To society, she is noble
to the children, she is cruelty masked as care, driven by greed and control.

Pratik Sehgal
(Avu ke mama)

A man who chose silence over responsibility, Pratik watched everything and did nothing. Present in name, absent in action, he turned away from the suffering within his own home. Self-absorbed and passive, he stood beside his wife not just in life, but in the quiet destruction of the children he claimed to shelter.

Parth Sehgal

Age: 14

Education: Class 9

Parth lost his biological parents at a young age, a loss that didn’t just take away his family, but his sense of belonging. Adopted by Pratik and Prerna Sehgal along with Avyuktha and Aarush, he entered a house that was called a home but never truly felt like one.

Kind, gentle, and naturally warm, Parth carries a softness that the world tried hard to break but never fully could. He smiles easily, speaks politely, and has a quiet charm that makes people trust him but behind it all lies a boy who learned too early that love is not always safe.

Deeply protective of Avyuktha, he sees her pain like his own. He stands in front of her like a shield whenever he can, yet carries a silent guilt believing he wasn’t enough to protect her from everything she went through. That guilt sits heavy in him, shaping the way he sees himself.

He puts others first without thinking, often ignoring his own needs completely. Asking for help feels foreign to him, almost wrong. He would rather endure in silence than become a burden.

Attachment scares him. Not because he doesn’t feel deeply but because he does. Losing his parents taught him that people don’t stay, and the life he lives now only reinforces it. So he keeps a distance, even from those he cares about, convincing himself it’s easier that way.

Parth is a boy who longs for a place to belong but has learned to survive as if he never truly will.
